My Story

When I was growing up my parents owned a small photography business. My best friends and I used to love spending a Saturday "modeling" for my Dad. I was the go-to babysitter for my younger brothers while my parents would be at a wedding. At the timeI didn't see what my Father loved about photography. It wasn't until 10 years after he packed away his camera that I got bit by the “bug”. I had always been an artist but I could never find that one medium that totally satisfied my inner need to create; until Photography. My studio resides in Downtown Port Huron, in the middle of a historic building.

I feel very strongly that every person deserves genuine, beautiful, and artistic photographs of themselves. We offer an array of products to suit every budget, ranging from digital collections to fine art handcrafted prints. I pour my heart and soul into every image I create, whether an artisan senior session, or a quick take mini session. I love what I do, and I love sharing it with other people. I love how you trust me to create the visions I have in my mind. I love learning everything I can about my craft and am constantly trying to soak up as much knowledge as possible. In doing so, I became a CPP (Certified Professional Photographer), and earned the Master of Photography and Photograph Craftman degrees from Professional Photographers of America. I now also enjoy judging image competitions and guest speaking across the country to fellow photographers on inspiration and creativity.

My #1 goal is create images that make you feel- whether it’s through the fine art I create, silly images of my three dogs, or personal portraits of you.
