My Story

When I was growing up my Dad & Mom owned a small photography business. My best friends and I used to love spending a Saturday "modeling" for my Dad. I was the go-to babysitter for my younger brothers while my parents would be at a wedding or during a session. Quite honestly, I didn't see what my Father loved about photography. I   It wasn't until 10 years after he packed away his camera that I got bit by the “bug”. I had always been an artist; I had even wanted to be an art teacher when I grew up. I could never find that one medium that totally satisfied my inner need to create; until Photography.

In 2009 I decided to take the leap and move the studio from my home to its current location in Downtown Port Huron.

I feel very strongly that every person deserves genuine, beautiful, and artistic photographs. I pour my heart and soul into every portrait I create. I love what I do, and I love sharing it with other people. I love how you trust me to create the visions I have in my mind. I love learning everything I can about my craft and am constantly trying to soak up as much knowledge as possible. In doing so, I became a CPP (Certified Professional Photographer), earned Master of Photography and Photograph Craftman degrees and I'm currently serving on the PPM Board of Directors. I now also enjoy judging image competitions and guest speaking to fellow photographers on inspiration and creativity.

My #1 goal is create images that make you feel- whether it’s through the fine art I create, silly images of my three dogs, or personal portraits of you.   If you are interested in having us create artistic images for you or your family, or if you just want to chat and get to know me better, drop us a line!
